Currently EA digital distribution service Origin has 4 million clients downloaded and already EA has plans to add third party contents.

EA CFO Eric Brown said that the third party contents will be up “very soon”.

“Initially, Origin is set up to deliver EA games, but very soon, we’ll be delivering third-party content to Origin,”

“We have about 4 million installs of the client, we expect that number to climb substantially as we enter this … holiday season.”

Will Origin be able to top Valve’s Steam platform? Or maybe both platform and co-exist peacefully.
