A 9-year-old boy named Damori Miles jumped off his Brooklyn apartment roof wearing his homemade parachute while trying to imitate a video game character from ‘Smackdown Raw’. The kid was found outside wrapped around with a string and a plastic bag, the sold called parachute. He died an hour later at Interfaith Medical Center.

Shakar, Damori’s best friend, said his pal was imitating his favorite PlayStation2 game, “WWE SmackDown vs Raw.”
“He tried to do a swan dive like Jeff Harding does in ‘SmackDown.’ That was his favorite game. He played it all the time,” Shakar said.
“That was what he was trying to do. If I would have seen him up there, I would have told him not to do it.”

NY Daily News reported that Damori’s mother told the detectives she went to the store and returned to find her son on the ground.

“I need to keep a better eye on what they are playing or watching. Kids are so impressionable,” she said.

Robert Zimmerman, a spokesman from World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) said the video game is designed for ages 13 and up and also none of the characters in the video game uses a parachute to jump off buildings.
