Capcom officially announced they have shipped 10 million copies around the world.

Devil May Cry was first released in 2001, followed by three sequels and a bunch of merchandises.
This is a big milestone for the series, even though it had some mixed reviews for the sequels that followed. The second sequel had a bumpy ride leaving gamers a bad taste in their mouth, but then Capcom went back to the drawing board and dish out the third installment. From then the series picked itself back up with the third and forth installments.

Capcom also shipped 4 million units of Street Fighter IV and Resident Evil 5.
