Alice: Madness Returns Interactive Storybook Available Online and for iTunes Worldwide

Update’s a little later than initially announced but we should know be able to get our sneak peak with what’s up with Alice prior to the events of Alice: Madness Returns. The storybook is now available worldwide circa June 1, 2011 and may be downloaded for free. Same incentive for finishing the story still applies for the worldwide release for iTunes.

And just recently, Alice:Madness Returns’ Facebook page has reached it’s target mark of 50,000 fans! Congratulates guys. When was this landmark number reached, you ask? Not too long ago actually. It was reached yesterday, June 3 ,2011.

Coincidentally… We now have the Interactive Storybook available on the sidebar for the page too. Finally! Still, the discount upon finishing the interactive story is very much redeemable should you opt  for entering Wonderland online via Facebook.

Non-iTunes users will have to wait a wee while though. In the meanwhile, you can always read Alice’s tale so far on their Facebook page right? That should suffice until you can finally have it on the go with you. Judging from things have been, it’s a sure thing that the non-iTunes version for the storybook will be free as well. So a little patience please! Good things ALWAYS come to those who wait.

For those who tuned in now about the interactive storybook for Alice: Madness Returns, it’s the prequel to the game and serves as the direct link between the first game and its sequel. It accounts for Alice’s time in the asylum in dark and beautiful detail. The writing is superb and the imagery is very vivid, even without the music and decadent art. I am at awe with the talent behind the pen. Kudos to you American Mcgee! It accounts for the time in her asylum and her sudden stability and eventual calm under her psychologist-guardian’s care.  However, the peace does not last for long since Alice is plagued by her past once more and this spells her return to Wonderland.

Remember, it’s for free and once finished you may redeem a $10 discount for the preorder through the game’s official site. Take note, the discount only stands for the PC release of the game.

Also, don’t forget to mark your calendars for June 14, 2011 and June 16, 2011 since this will be when Alice: Madness Returns will be made available to North American and European territories
