Sega just announced that ‘Aliens Vs Predator’ will be fully released in Australia as a MA15+ rating. The game will not have any restriction which means there will not be any altercation for censorship in the game.

“It is with great pleasure that we announce the success of our appeal,” said Darren Macbeth, Managing Director, SEGA Australia and also added, “We are particularly proud that the game will be released in its original entirety, with no content altered or removed whatsoever. This is a big win for Australian gamers. We applaud the Classification Review Board on making a decision that clearly considers the context of the game, and is in line with the modern expectations of reasonable Australians.”

Is it just me or is  Australia Classification Review Board is just confused and unfair at times. I think ‘AVP’ will probably be more of a glorified game than say ‘Left 4 Dead 2′, well I guess whacking aliens is more humane than whacking zombies.

At least bottom-line this is definitely  a win for Australian gamers this time.
