Much success has come from band specific titles for the Guitar Hero franchise, and Rock Band has decided to follow suit with one of the most epic bands of all time: The Beatles. Both Rock Band fans and Beatles fans will find this game something to scream about with over 45 songs including never before released content.

The graphics were raved about by none other than the two Beatles, Ringo and Paul, who made an appearance at E3 to discuss the game. Videos of the game play backed up the claims made by the two musicians with excellent animated images of the group and backgrounds that portray stages where the band has played.

Perhaps the most anticipated part of the game is the all new design of the Rock Band instruments. The guitars and drum set are modeled after the actual instruments the boys made their trademark. The special edition of The Beatles Rock Band will include the special bass guitar controller, the Ludwig drum controller, a microphone along with microphone stand, and a special surprise for gamers. The two guitars will be sold separately.

September 9th of this year is the projected release date and stores such as Gamestop are currently taking pre-orders. XBox 360 players will have special bonus tracks available for them to download so gamers with multiple systems may want to look into the 360 version. No matter what system you have though, no Beatles or Rock Band fan should miss out on this.
