Cosplay might be thing for the nerds and geeks but I’ve never seen such amazing and authentic cosplay in my life. Pete Mander, special effects artist from Ontario made an amazing costume from Halo universe. Pete Mander has proven that you can make almost anything if you have enough time, will and skill, therefore he managed to create life-sized Elite, also known as Sangheili from Halo.

For all of those who don’t know what Sangheili are here’s the reminder. Sangheili are lizard like alien race of warriors named after their home planet Sanghelios, but humans know them as Elite. As you know, Elite are masters when it comes to combat and average Elite is 7’4″ tall and it weights 320 lb, which makes him a supreme fighter and a backbone of Covenant army. Agile, strong, fierce, skilled and proud they are perfect warriors. Elite have their unique look but Pete has proven that everything is possible by making life-size Elite costume.

Pete Mander made this costume in his garage  using old stuff that he has found and results are amazing. His Elite is much more than a simple Halloween costume because it looks so alive and real. I’ve seen several cosplays from several game franchises but none of them look amazing like this one. I don’t know how much time did Pete spent in making of this costume but it’s not something that you can make for one afternoon that’s for sure. Anyhow Pete did amazing job and I hope that he’s costume will inspire other fans to make something similar.
