Assassin’s Creed 2 Combat is Brutally Intelligent

October 16, 2009 by Ruibo

ac2combatThe latest edition of Assassin’s Creed 2 Dev Diary is shows some brutal combat action and give us a little taste of their dynamic combat system.

The developers are bringing in a new meaning of realistic response to enemies taking hits and the way they’ll react. Unlike most games where you would normally slash an enemy x times, but you missed 1 hit and comes right back at you like they never got hit, Assassin’s Creed 2’s new system will response different within each hit. If I have in axe through your chest, you’ll end up staggering, get wounded possibly die. Overall, it’ll be a more real life sense of combat.
