Blizzard Releasing StarCraft II Beta Map Editor & Mac Client

Great news for fans and creators of custom maps in Blizzard games because the map editor for StarCraft II Beta is coming out this week.

Blizzard just recently did a full reset for ‘StarCraft 2 Beta’ to make a clean restart for the new patches and making room for the map editor aka. ‘Galaxy Map Editor’.

Expect the ‘Galaxy Editor’ to let you create your own maps, game modes, customizations, and plenty more familiar and new features. Blizzard did not implement the Map Marketplace, which lets gamers sell their maps over Battle.net, most likely we will not be seeing this system live until Blizzard releases the full retail version of the game. Also, big news for Mac community since Blizzard announced that the first StarCraft 2 Mac Beta client will be available next week.

So hurry up and start making those TD, DOTA, survival, parody map setting games.
