Blizzard Unveilds new Beta Opt-In Process For Upcoming Starcraft II Beta
Blizzard have recently revamped their Battle.net site with the introduction of a new opt in procedure for beta signups. This is itself in beta stages so we suggest all of you hoping to get on Starcraft II beta should check it out.
This is a far easier and streamlined procedure, the new beta opt in bypasses the standard method of uploading the old style DXDIAG files and instead relies on a new Blizzard style of optaining your personal computers specifications. Firstly, you’re to log into or create a new Battle.net account, from then you should head to the profiles page and download Blizzards new system checker utility. This program quickly checks through your PC and returns the data it discovers to the Battle.net website. Ensure you’ve checked the Starcraft II box and press the “Update Preferences” button. Once you’ve followed these steps you’ll be done.
Now sit back and wait to see if you’re one of the thousands hoping to get selected from millions of beta hopefuls. Good luck getting in and hopefully I’ll see you on the other side.
