Blizzard’s MMORPG juggernaut ‘World of Warcraft’ had just turned 5, while the Warcraft franchise turned 15. To celebrate Blizzard open a separate website dedicated to the anniversary itself. To start off they have already kicked off the ‘World of Warcraft Battlecry Mosaic’ where players send in their photos to show their World of Warcraft pride, definitely should check that out. The site will be updated throughout the week with special interviews and a lot of cool features.

That’s not all Blizzard is doing, they will be holding festivities through out the week inside WoW. Plus, to kick off the 5 year of ‘World of Warcrack’, I mean Warcraft, Blizzard is giving away free cute Onyxian Whelplings.

To mark this special occasion, any character that logs into the game between now and Sunday, December 6 at 11:59 p.m. (realm time) will receive their very own Onyxian Whelpling non-combat pet, along with a special message from the development team.

Keep checking the official anniversary site to see special interviews and features for the Warcraft series.
