Capcom Launches Club 96: Biohazard Official Fanclub

So earlier, I reported on the confirmed details for The Mercenaries 3D and Ada Wong figure at the recently concluded launch party for The Mercenaries 3d party.

But that wasn’t all that was announced then.

Capcom has announced earlier that this year marks the 15 years of Resident Evil/Biohazard and so far all is going strong for the said franchise. To make the point even clearer to the world, they also launched an official fan club for their flagship franchise called ‘Club 96′.

The choice of name is owing to the fact that it was the year when the Resident Evil/Biohazard 1 was first released. So far, Club 96 is for Japanese audiences only. Hope they release to the rest of the world at some point. I’d definitely join.

Club 96 members will carry ID cards signifying their membership and will have access to members only points on the Capcom website. Also, they will have the chance to buy exclusive commemorative items which will be released later on.

Goods are looking very enticing so far. I really want the umbrella the most and that that… Would be good to wear for the extra sunnier days. Hopefully they’ll edit the ‘Engrish’ on the t-shirts though. Some are mighty…hard to comprehend what they actually mean but t-shirts look nice though!
