Sony Online Entertainment has announced they will be merging all the DC Universe Online servers into four “super servers” and will be offering a free month of game time for the unfortunate attack on SOE servers.

Testing of the new system will take place next month and the merger sometime after which will result into four servers, one for PC, one for Playstation 3 in both Europe and the US.

Right after the announcement of the merger, Sony got attacked for the second time and took the SOE servers down and over 24.6 million accounts and 12,700 credit cards have been breached. As a result of the incident, SOE is offering 30 day subscription credit plus one day for each day the service is unavailable. In addition to the game time, SOE is offering a Batman-inspired mask.
