Tecmo Koei made this announcement during the the TGS’ Tecmo event.

The big news was dropped by Team Ninja producer Yosuke Hayashi. The game’s status is currently: in development. Besides making the logo of this game in progress then, they also made mentioned that it will be due next year in 2012. The latest installment of this popular fighting franchise will be available on the PS3 and Xbox360.

A trailer was show for the excited public, showcasing a rough take of how the game is progressing.

Hayashi made mentioned regarding stepping it up for this installment and making DOA5 more than just a fighting game but ‘fighting entertainment’. Previews for Ninja Gaiden 3 were also shown at that time.
