Super Mario Bros X has been out for a while, version 1.3 also has been released almost half a year ago but we’ve never covered it and have expressed how awesome it is.

SMBX 1.3 is a fan made Mario game combining some of the classics with their own intuitive work.

• Five playable characters including: Toad, Peach, and Link
• Over 50 cleverly designed levels in the default episode
• Easy to use, real-time level editor with thousands of objects to choose from
• Both classic and brand new power ups such as Yoshi and The Billy Gun
• Two player co-op action with an intelligent camera that splits and combines
• An intense battle mode that will leave you coming back for more

The best part, you don’t have to hear read, “The princess is in another castle.” Now, only if Nintendo can pick up these developers and make it fully available on the Wii so everyone can try out their work. You can download the game here.
