EA Wants Console Price Cuts? So Does Everyone Else, Buddy

Console price cuts would be nice (looking at you, Playstation 3). EA, like all developers and consumers, would like to see these price cuts — and states the blatantly obvious in their Q1 conference call.

EA’s CEO John Riccitiello had quite a few words about console pricing during the conference call, the most interesting of which being his statement on the company’s anticipation of price cuts, which seems to imply that they know something that we.. well, don’t.

He also gives an inspiring nugget of knowledge: pricing moves hardware. Who knew?
