EA’s ‘Dante’s Inferno’ New Screens for Super Bowl & ‘Trials of St. Lucia’ DLC Details Video

EA & Visceral Games released a few screenshots for ‘Dante’s Inferno’, that will be showing during the Super Bowl this year for the Saints vs Colts game. This will be EA’s first Super Bowl commercial for the company and it will last only thirty seconds on Live broadcast television, but most likely costing EA a whole lot of money for it.
“Even within the spectrum of live sports events, the Super Bowl stands apart, almost as a national holiday,” said Frank Gibeau, president at EA. “The Super Bowl is a bull’s-eye in terms of cross-over to our core demographic and the reach is outstanding. Not only does it draw 100 million viewers, but most people watch the Super Bowl live, a rarity in the world of DVRs. While digital outreach to Facebook, Twitter, and online bloggers is a core part of our marketing strategy, we felt that advertising during the Super Bowl is an excellent way to introduce this new IP to a massive cross-section of people who are likely already familiar with the dark and twisted “Divine Comedy.”
On another note, there was sort of a leak of a video detailing the upcoming DLC for ‘Dante’s Inferno’, which is called ‘Trials of St. Lucia’. The video has the developers giving you information and new details on the DLC such as co-op mode, which probably the second player will control St. Lucia and surprisingly a customizable mission maker to build your very own level in Hell for Dante to cross. It is still not sure whether this was leaked or was it planned by EA, either way it looks really really good.
Before you can get ‘Trials of St. Lucia’ which will be landing somewhere in March, you will need to buy ‘Dante’s Inferno’ first which will be release on the 4th in Europe and the 9th in North America. It will be available for the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360.
