Fable 3 Microsoft Natal Support & In-Game Micro-transaction Confirmed

Over at this year annual BAFTA Video Game Lecture, Peter Molyneux, Creative Director of Microsoft Studios and the head of Lionhead studios, confirmed that Natal will be supported in Fable III.
“… confirmed Natal support for Fable 3,” Tweeted by Johnny Minkley from Eurogamer who attended the lecture.
Another important feature that will be in the game is the in-game micro-transaction stores. This feature will let players buy in-game items for real currency. A sample would be weapons in the game, walkthrough, or maybe new downloadable contents will cost money this time around.
One important point Molyneux made was that this in-game micro-transaction feature for the game might not be added to the final product and might be dropped before the release of the game.

Normally I love everything Peter Molyneux has to say but when I hear the words "micro-transaction" I cant help but cringe. I am so tired of games trying to squeeze extra dollars out of my pocket. I am okay with buying addition content in the style of GTA's Lost and Damned or Fallout 3's Broken Steel DLC packs but in-game items? I hope all the in-game items are included in the game and the store is only offering less dedicated players a chance to purchase them early. Ever since developers and publishers began flirting with this idea I didn't think it would catch on. The continuous push to legitimize these type of transactions must mean people really are willing to pay a couple bucks for items like horse armor.
