Zynga is being sued by SocialApps for stealing the codes from them to make Farmville. The accusation from SocialApps came up after Zynga contacted them to make a Farm game for Facebook, since SocialApps already has a farm game ready called myFarm so all Zynga need is the source code from that game.

SocialApps agreed to an agreement and gave Zynga their source codes for myFarm. After receiving the source code from SocialApps, Zynga went AWOL and later released FarmVille, never contacting SocialApps again.

SocialApps is now suing for $100,000 in damages and a cut of every profit from FarmVille, CityVille, FrontierVille, FishVille, and any other Ville out there.

I would love to watch this on a T.V. show like People’s Court.
