To celebrate the ten years of Final Fantasy X, Squaresoft-Enix will be remaking this PS2 title for the PS3 and Vita, rendering it in HD. This surprising announcement was rendered during the prior TGS press conference.

It was Squaresoft-Enix’ producer that dropped the bomb during the said event. He did not share any further details on how the remake would be done: an aesthetic enhancement or much more extensive in nature.

No date was also mentioned. We can only look forward to more updates during the remaining days of the Tokyo Game Show in Japan.
