Final Fantasy XIV Screenshots Looking Good

The announcement of Final Fantasy XIV at this year’s E3 was somewhat out of left field, and caught quite a few people by surprise. Once the initial shock had passed, though, there was obviously plenty of excitement about the next Final Fantasy MMO. While there still aren’t a whole lot of details about the game released yet, Square Enix did release some nice looking screenshots for your viewing pleasure.
Some of them are just still images of scenes from the trailer reproduced in high resolution, but there are some new shots as well. Some of them are even in-engine, so you can get a sense of how the game will look when you actually get to play it. We’ll be able to see the game in it’s full glory next year on the PS3 and PC (and maybe the Xbox 360?)
