Forza 3 Event Releases Perfect Dark Tantalizer
Pre-E3, Microsoft announcements are always released world wide well before they are supposed to be. Such is the case with Forza Motorsport 3.
Forza Motorsport 3 is going to be released for the Xbox 360. Although no official announcement has been made yet, this came as no big surprise due to the popularity of the previous games and of course the various rumors floating around. We can’t really give you too much more information other than that, but previous rumors floating around have hinted that the Turn 10-developed title would consist of over 100 tracks, 400 cars, and would span across two discs, making it a massive game.
Last week’s event in Sao Paolo, wasn’t only giving news of Forza 3 however.. There was also something else that turned up which we found interesting. The second view ever of Perfect Dark on XBLA.
Now it’s been all but confirmed officially, all thanks to somebody taking shots of a Microsoft meeting in Brazil, no doubt they didn’t expect anyone to be filming it. So what do we have? We have what appears to be a partial logo for Forza 3. We also have someone offscreen speaking in Portuguese and the crowd around going “amazing…” and “wow…” and chanting “Forza! Forza!” You can see video of this event after the change in scenes. The video is mostly what appears to be a standard run of the mill presentation, but take a look at what happens around 6:58 in the video that was released… What’s that? Perfect Dark?!? Based on this video (which was sent in by an anonymous user), we can only suspect that Rare may be developing an Xbox LIVE Arcade version of Perfect Dark!
On the ESRB website, Perfect Dark is still only rated for the Nintendo 64 system, and not for XBLA so it looks like someone jumped the gun a bit and let this out a bit too early.
There you have it. The world patiently awaits the arrival of Forza 3, and…. of Perfect Dark…
