It’s true. Harry Potter has officially been added into the LEGO video game series. While nothing is known about a release date other than sometime in 2010, LEGO Harry Potter is definitely a game to look forward to.

Somehow turning scenes and characters into LEGOs has made movies people know by heart into an all new adventure. Despite LEGO Harry Potter taking players through the first four books of the series, something that has already been done in video games and movies, the game still appears to have the potential to be fun. Players will get to play as one of the three main characters: Harry, Ron, and Hermione. While fans already know of all the magic spells and wild rides that these three went through in the first four books, the LEGO style adds a whole new side to the fun.

Not much else has been released on the new game but more information will be available for curious fans as the game comes closer to being finished. No specific consoles were mentioned as far as the platforms the game will be available on, but chances are it will follow in it’s predecessor’s footsteps and be released on every current game system.
