Hulu Actively Blocking PS3 Users

About half of PS3 users could access Hulu on their console and view the service on their TVs, but now it seems Hulu has blocked any and all Playstation 3 consoles from their service.

It’s disappointing, true, but it’s also not a surprise. Hulu is in cahoots with several television networks including NBC, ABC, FOX, Comedy Central, Sci Fi Channel, A&E and so on. There was already enough worry among cable companies that too many people are watching Hulu as opposed to actual television, meaning they are getting less advertising revenue.

For now, PS3 users will have to stick to YouTube to get their free video fix. Maybe Sony will jump on the streaming video bandwagon like the 360 has already done and the Wii has just implemented in Japan.
