Jay-Z and Eminem to MC the new DJ Hero

Jay- Z and Eminem will be featured in a new instalment of the Guitar Hero franchise, Activision’s already $2 billion dollar success. DJ Hero ,played with a turntable style controller , will be available for PS3, PS2,Xbox 360 and Wii. Those who buy the game early will get some exclusive limited edition gear, like a, cd of greatest-hits, an advanced controller, DJ stand and Metal travelling case.
When asked about he release, Eminem said, “I don’t want to give away any surprises yet,” he said in an e-mail interview. ” “DJ Hero’ will include my music, and I’ll be providing additional material as downloadable content by the end of the year . Jay –Z said, “You actually get lost doing it. It creates a DJ’s universe.
Using the rotating record platter with sampling buttons, effects dial and a cross fader, players match song track streams and create effects to score points individually or cooperatively, and of course you can compete with other players.
DJ Hero players will not tire of the vast range of hip-hop, electronica, R&B, soul and pop/rock available to them. Songs by 50 Cent, Beastie Boys, KRS-One, Blondie, N.E.R.D., Gorillaz and David Bowie will be featured along with top DJ’s such as, DJ Shadow, DJ Z-Trip and DJ AM.
President and CEO of Guitar Hero, Dan Rosensweig says, “You are going to get over 100 songs from 80 artists and 80 brand-new mixes that have never been heard before, including one with Eminem and Jay-Z (together),” says “Guitar Hero”.
