LEGO Rock Band Releasing Late 2009

LEGO Star Wars, LEGO Indiana Jones, and LEGO Batman. Who would have thought the next release of the popular LEGO series would be Rock Band? Certainly not me.

LEGO Rock Band is the collaborative work of Warner Bros., TT Games, The Lego Group, Harmonix, and MTV Games. Scheduled for release in 2009 (most likely around the holiday season), LEGO Rock Band will be available for the Wii, PS3, Xbox 360, and DS. Sorry PSP fans – you’ll have to buy another system if you want to play this one.

The recent press release states “LEGO Rock Band combines the multiplayer music experience of Rock Band with the fun, customization and humor of the LEGO video game franchise packed with brilliant chart-topping songs and classic favorites suitable for younger audiences.”
