Little Big Planet Merchandise Gets Sacked

Fans of Little Big Planet are going to be disappointed. Big time. Mezco Toyz was set to release an array of merchandise based on Sackboy and Sackgirl, but the whole product line has disappeared off the map.

Any sign of Little Big Planet has been from Mezco’s official site and retailers have canceled preorders for any Sackboy material from the toy company.

It’s a shame, because they had a bundle of LBP merchandise planned, including zipper pulls and customizable Sackboys. The biggest disappointment is the action figures, which were supposed to range from 2 to 18 inches. Hopefully another manufacturer will pick up the rights to create Sack-merch, but for now the reality of stuffed Sackboys is nothing but a wonderful dream.
