If the names Guybrush Threepwood, the Ghostpirate LeChuck, and Herman Toothrot ring a bell for you, you’re in luck. Heck, even if they don’t, you’re in luck. LucasArts is releasing The Secret of Monkey Island: Special Edition on July 15th for PC and Xbox Live.

There’s no firm price announced yet for this point and click adventure. Whatever it’s gonna be, isn’t it worth it to see the beautiful Governor Elaine Marley rendered in HD? There are cannibals, pot heads (I mean that literally: there’s a flower pot on Guybrush’s head), voodoo, hermits and insulting swordfights. Throw in Pad Thai and it all sounds like my normal Thursday night.
