Microsoft is Planning for Xbox Live Integrating with Windows Mobile

January 4, 2010 by srfto

It seems that Microsoft is looking for principal program manager, software test engineer, and senior software test engineer for their latest project to bring “Xbox Live enabled games to Windows Mobile”.

Telegraph reported that Microsoft is very focused on bringing avatar integration, social interactions, and multiscreen experiences with also Xbox Live community elements as the forefront of the proposed new service. To show you an idea how long Microsoft had this in mind, you have to look back three years ago when Bill Gates introduced ‘Live Anywhere’ at E3.

With all this going on, rumors are circulating that this new service is part of Microsoft plan to compete with Apple’s iPhone and iTouch by introducing their new Zune phone. However, there is still no confirmation from Microsoft as to whether there are any plans of releasing a Zune phone, but from intuition I say Microsoft is already in works to compete with the iPhone but most likely not with a Zune phone.
