Sources from the news website Develop, is claiming that Microsoft is discussing the possibilities of bringing free-to-play games to the Xbox 360.
The business model of free-to-play games are profited through either in-game items or premium upgrades using Microsoft Points.
Microsoft has yet to respond to the claims but last week, Valve has released free-to-play games on Steam and announcing Team Fortress 2 has gone free-to-play as well.
It looks like the new trend originated from MMOs has caught on with Microsoft as well.
