Killzone 2 recently launched with a big bang into the community. With over 750,000 copies sold, even Microsoft congratulated Sony and Guerrilla on a job well done. As it may appear at least, quite frankly, it seems Microsoft may be a bit upset or jealous.

According to Gameguru, a Microsoft rep states they’re working on a secret weapon that will be much better than Killzone 2:

We congratulate Sony and Guerrilla Games for their efforts with Killzone 2, however this is only the beginning of a new wave. The current technology employed for certain unannounced Xbox 360 exclusives far surpasses what gamers have seen in any game so far.

Gears of War was the beginning of this technological benchmark when released on the 360 and this lineage will be carried forward in the following months with exclusives that shall stand for a new definition of gaming experience and provide stiff competition for the opposition.

A congratulations with a b*tchslap right after. Whether Microsoft can pull it off or not, I’m curious to see how things will turn up. We’ll see who will get the last laugh in the end.
