More Hentai Game Sites Jump on the IP “Ban”-Wagon

More Japanese hentai game developers are banning foreign IPs from their sites in order to protect themselves from any unwanted attention, but is it any surprise that it’s a little upsetting?
Minori was first to go, claiming to defend their culture and avoid any foreign controversy. Now Yuzusoft’s website has also gone the way of the Minori, but without any sort of message that at least voices their concern for the matter.
VisualAntena!’s site had blocked foreign IPs with the message “PLEASE PLAY THE GAME OF YOUR COUNTRY IF YOU PRAY FOR THE WORLD PEACE!:-)” for a short time before reverting back to international access.
It’s depressing that Japanese software companies and the entire structure surrounding how they do business is being altered to placate people in other countries who don’t even care enough to check about what the country is doing about the so-called “problem,” but c’est la vie.
Hentai game fans have nothing to really worry about unless they cease licensing rights to translation and distributing companies. But with the way things are looking, the hentai game industry is two hops and a skip away from doing just that.
