Now, get this: us PSN users are given a chance to be able to get your hands on a playable demo of MK9 for free.

Yup, free. Sweet isn’t it?

For PS Plus users, you should be able to autodownload this since March 8, 2011. For the non PS Plus users, expect to get it by March 15, 2011: one week after the subscribers get it.

What’s to be expected from this playable demo?

We get to try out the gameplay albeit through the eyes of four of the 24 confirmed playable characters namely: Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Johnny Cage and Mileena. Yes, we’ll be able to even do their fatalities and x-ray attacks. The stages available for play are ‘The Pit’ and ‘The Living Forest’.

So if you’re a PS Plus subscriber, get your demo of MK9 already and tell us all of how things are so far.  Would love to hear from you guys on the matter.

The XBox360 playable demo will follow shortly. Just a matter of time, guys. Don’t worry, they haven’t forgotten about you yet. So who’s just as excited as I am for this game?
