NBA Live 10 Cover Changed — Magic or Not?
June 11, 2009 by srfto

The cover for NBA Live 10 had been leaked not too long ago, sporting a picture of Kobe Bryant on the cover. But EA apparently changed their minds after Tuesday’s finals. Orlando Magic pulled off a 108-104 win, and the team’s star player Dwight Howard (nicknamed Superman) knocked back an impressive 21 points and 14 rebounds.
EA was as impressed as Magic fans were happy — Kobe out, Dwight in.
Dwight Howard has been doing pretty well this year. He pulled the team back from a 2-0 to a 2-1 in the finals and is winning the 2009 NBA Defensive Player of the Year Award. To top that off, he also played in the U.S. Men’s Senior National Basketball Team at the Olympics last year, helping the team bring home the gold medal.
Kobe fans are none too happy, but Kobe haters and Magic fans are more than ecstatic to not see Bryant’s face on another piece of merchandise.
No gameplay information has been announced yet, but NBA Live 10 is slated for release in October.
