New Dragon Ball game for Xbox 360 & PS3 [Updated]

The upcoming issue of Weekly Shonen Jump reveals Namco Bandai’s new Dragon Ball fighter, tentatively known as Dragon Ball Game Project Age 2011.

The new Dragon Ball will focus on “3D fighting action,” which sounds similar to what Namco Bandai has done in previous versions, looks light we’ll have to hear more from them for more details.

A release window of Fall 2011 has been put into plans in Japan and will be available on the Xbox 360 and PS3. As for a US/Europe launch, no word yet but wouldn’t be too surprised when it does.

[Update] – Namco Bandai has confirmed the upcoming Dragon Ball Game Project Age 2011 is coming to the US and is in development by Spike Co. Ltd. The new game will feature upgraded character and environmental graphics, drawn from the original manga series.
