New Monkey Island Game Debut Trailer

Adventure fans will be able to return to the swashbuckling world of Monkey Island once again with the upcoming Tales of Monkey Island, the first new game in the series in nine years. The game will be released episodically starting in July, for both the PC and on the Wii as WiiWare.

The game sports a cartoonish 3D look and tries to emulate the classic humor of the original games. If the trailer is any judge, it’s not certain that they succeeded… but we’ll see. Tales of Monkey Island also coincides with the release of an enhanced remake of Secret of Monkey Island, for anyone who wants to get their retro adventure gaming on.
