New Screenshots of Zero Gravity FPS Shattered Horizon
July 21, 2009 by urloc
Yesterday it was the 40th anniversary of man walking on the moon, and to celebrate it, we got some freshly new screenshots of Shattered Horizon, a FPS set in zero gravity while surrounded of rocks and remains of orbital structures. Playing on zero gravity is the main feature of the game, as it will lead to different gameplay than other First Person Shooters. If you were thinking about why we haven’t done anything in the moon after stepping on it, Shattered Horizon gives us a few hints about what could happen if we tried to make profit of our satellite.
The story of the game is based on men making huge profits by mining the Moon and due to their greed a huge accident happens and throws billions of tons of debris to the space. Those fragments settle around the Earth and became known as the Arc.
Besides releasing the new screenshots below depicted, they also announce in their site their Beta for Shattered Horizon will come “soon” letting players to sign up. We’ll catch up with more news of this game developed by Futuremark Studio Games which promises a new dimension, literally speaking, to the overloaded First Person Shooter scene. Here we have the fresh new screenshots that, as you can see, look really great with spatial landscapes all around.
