New Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Screenshots
June 17, 2009 by srfto

Uncharted 2 has already had a lot of talk with its improvements over Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune despite the game not being released until November of ‘09. One thing that seemed like it’d be near impossible to improve upon though was the graphics. Somehow, they did. New screenshots of the game show incredible scenery of various places from the cities to treasure filled rooms and even landscapes. It’s hard for a game to look as realistic as Uncharted 2 does with background, and making the characters look as realistic as they do is a feat that by itself makes the game worth playing. But the screenshots also show other reasons this game is one not to be missed.
The female lead of Uncharted 2 is shown off in screenshots and she’s definitely a good choice for Drake’s companion. There are also old faces brought back from the first game, including Sully and Elena. But what makes this so impressive in the screenshots? They show the pictures of the multi-player abilities, including cooperative play and competitive. And naturally playing through single player mode with Drake is shown off to the fullest extent of it’s graphic beauty. We can all stare in wonder at these awesome actual in engine pictures while we wait for the game to be released.
