If you own a Xbox 360 but not connected on Xbox Live then you probably haven’t updated the NXE (New Xbox Experience). Like it or not Microsoft announced that you must update to play the newest games. You can run, but you can’t hide. Good thing about the update is you will be getting tons of pretty cool features. To name a few, “avatars, achievements, performance enhancement (sounds like I’m selling pharmaceuticals), usability, and tv/netflix streaming.

New upcoming games that will have this mandatory update on-disc is Tom Clancy: H.A.W.X., and MLB:2K9. Both of these games will not let you play them unless you accept the dashboard update that appears when you put in the disc into you 360. Microsoft seems a bit pushy, but maybe it really is for the better?
