Nintendo’s UK senior product manager James Honeywell had just revealed that the DSi launch in UK has sold more than 92,000 in two days already since launch.  This makes the Nintendo DSi fourth biggest selling console in the UK.

James Honeywell stated:

We are pleased with the initial performance of DSi over its first two days. However, a launch is just the beginning and we will continue to work hard throughout the year to try and maintain this positive start for the platform. We were also pleased to see DS Lite
maintained strong sales during DSi launch and that people see that both consoles have something to offer them.

So either gamers hated the GBA slot or the two new camera feature really hit home with them.
Who knows? But we do know the numbers speaks for itself.
