No Zombies in Call of Duty: Black Ops?!

We’re all waiting for Call of Duty: Black Ops with anticipation, but there are some sad news for all of us that want to see zombies in the latest Call of Duty game. As you remember, Nazi Zombies were a huge hit in Call of Duty: World at War, and we were honestly hoping that we ‘d see them in Black Ops as well.

According to the Daniel Suarez, Executive Producer on Call of Duty: Black Ops, it seems Combat Training mode is the only co-op mode available in Black Ops. In addition, Suarez said that Wager Matches are the replacement for Nazi Zombies. Sure, Wager Matches might be a nice way for you to gamble and get a quick action fix, but we want some zombies! On the other hand, Combat Training is a great co-op mode for all the new players that will allow them to train before entering a real match, but that’s not a reason to abandon the zombies. Honestly, I don’t care about gambling and combat training in Black Ops, because I just want to blast some undead brain-eating zombies. I don’t know about you, but I think that Combat Training and Wager Matches could never replace zombies, and I would rather give both of these modes just to get zombies back.

I was really looking forward to the zombies in Black Ops, but now it seems that we aren’t going to see them. So far, there isn’t an official announcement that there won’t be a zombie mode in Black Ops, but as we can see, it’s not looking well for the hordes of the undead. We can just hope that Nazi Zombies will somehow rise from the grave and that they’ll appear in the Black Ops.
