Official Final Fantasy XIII Soft Drink ‘Elixir’ Ad
There is already gamers drinking World of Warcraft soft drinks, so why not drink some Final Fantasy XIII drinks. Square Enix is releasing a line of Final Fantasy XIII soft drinks in Japan and is currently running a TV ad spot to promote it with the upcoming launch of the game.
The soft drink is called ‘Elixir’ and the commercial show a lady running through a cone, a bench, and even a car. All of these stuff are directly slamming into her face and taking her life points as she head butt her way through. Hence that is why she drinks a ‘Elixir’ at the end to recharge her HP. However, I think if anybody else had to run through that they should drink some ‘Phoenix Downs’ instead. Ha! The drink will be released to the public in Japan on December 8th.

I've been a fan of the FF series for a long time, and once I was able to move in Japan I did imagine myself buying absolutely all the merchandise and memorabilia I could shake a stick at. But I have to be honest and say that the Final Fantasy soft drinks taste absolutely dreadful. I'm sure that didn't hinder sales in any way though!
