Many gamers such as myself would remember a classic game called Oregon Trail. The game would have you lead a bunch of people across the US in a wagon, while you hunt buffalo and birds for food. Sometimes your people would die from starvation or your wagon lose an axle which will end the game right there. All in all it was a fun game and very well made for that era.
Today, the band Fall Out Boy using the same game set-up allows fans to lead them on a adventure to many different cities in the US. Other than the same game formula and the graphics, there are some major differences between the two games. You start out by selecting what level you want to be a “sellout” which will net you the different amounts of starting money. Players need to set food rations to the band such giving them McNuggets and Vitamin water to stay healthy. (Don’t ask how they live on that) You also kill zombies with lasers and play Guitar Hero style mini-games while a oxen is pulling the tour bus.(Have no idea why they need a ox to pull the bus)
Even though it seems weird and odd, the game is actually quite entertaining. I couldn’t finish the game since it seem like two of the band mates had constipation (actually made me smile when that happened). So if you are fans of Fall Out Boys or Oregon Trail you should definitely considering giving this a try.
