PlayStation Network Joins Amazon

Sony today expanded their PlayStation Network onto a huge retailer named ‘Amazon.com’. This will mean that Sony will be joining Microsoft and Nintendo, which just like the other two, Sony will be offering their digital downloads for sale on Amazon. Gamers who purchase it off Amazon will get a code right after their purchase to redeem through the PlayStation Network immediately.

“With more than 600 million pieces of content downloaded to date, consumers are turning to PlayStation Network more than ever for digitally distributed entertainment content,” said by Peter Dille who is the Senior VP of Marketing “We are excited to team with Amazon.com to expand our reach with Amazon’s market leading ability to target current and future PlayStation consumers.”

Probably the best part about all this is probably (hopefully) upcoming future deals from Amazon or Sony.
