It’s for real. We will soon see the launch of a new MMO from Realtime Worlds. Realtime Creative Director David Jones has made the announcement during the ongoing Gamehorizon conference at the Sage Gateshead in Northeast England.

Besides talking about the challenges faced by Realtime Worlds when they released their first online title, All Points Bulletin (APB), David Jones apparently disclosed that the so-called new MMO was the original project they had planned and raised $30 million in venture capital.

Anyway, we all can certainly look forward to something exciting. It’s indeed been a quick progression for Realtime Worlds starting with the 2-player Crackdown, moving on to APB which supported 100 players per server, and now they are talking about some real MMO. I, for one, thoroughly loved their multiplayer Crackdown, and I am sure the new MMO will be far more fun for the community.

No further inputs on what this new MMO is going to be like. Should we guess it could be an advanced version of APB Evolved??
