Resident Evil 4 Appears on the iPhone, Disappears

Capcom has previously stated their enthusiasm to port games over to the iPhone, which could be both good and bad depending on how you see it. But this may be unanimously bad.

Recently Resident Evil 4 slithered onto the Japanese App Store and quickly disappeared. But it was there long enough for someone to nab up.

Japanese App site AppBank has a whole site on it and has uploaded a gameplay video on YouTube. Watching the video could make anyone go “Why?”

How Resident Evil 4 could be all that enjoyable with the iPhone’s interface is anyone’s guess, but the video does give a good look at those delicious low-res graphics and clunky controls.

Capcom hasn’t spoken on the issue yet, but the leak is sure to bring some sort of official announcement soon.
