[Rumors] Big Announcement Tommorow for LucasArts

What better way to celebrate 4th of July than a good tweet? And LucasArts has done just that. Maybe the after-effect of their Monkey Island title!!!

If we have to believe Twitter tweets, LucasArts has hinted at a big announcement on Monday, July 6. All we know is, it’s going to be awesome news for “old school fans” .

The first tweet only lights up the excitement for Monday, however there are two more hints subsequently:

“Amazing news coming Monday! Super excited! You have no idea how tough it is not to start yelling about it! But it’s secret! Until Monday!”

Hint 1

“I don’t want to tease; it is just tough not to say anything! I might be tempted, however. Have to think about it over the weekend. ”

Hint 2

“Okay, we will do hints. It is awesome news for our old school fans. (anything more direct might get me in trouble)”

Any idea what this amazing announcement could be? My guess is, maybe Maniac Mansion 2: Day of the Tentacle!!!

There are others who think it could be something next in the original trilogy Star Wars space combat games (X-Wing, Tie Fighter etc..), or it could be announcement of Full Throttle???
