How timely of this to come out just in time for E3, where we’ll be expecting some news for our busty bounty hunter, Lara soon enough! Once again, we have yet another masterpiece cast statue from Side Show Collectibles in collaboration with famed comic book artist Adam Hughes. With the latter providing the design and exclusive art print for this sexy figure, this Lara Croft figure is not only easy on the eyes but exudes the confidence and action oriented nature of the character.

Lara is sculpted based on her Guardian of Light appearance and depicted in a very dynamic pose. In her signature turquiose tank and hiking gear, the Countess of Abbington dares to oppose the hordes of darkness unleashed by her ally’s mortal foe, Xolotl and standards of archaeological hunts. The statue follows closely Adam Hughe’s style while retaining the signature Lara Croft look and feel.

This statue is under the Premium Format series by Side Show Collectibles and is a painstaking detailed mixed media masterpiece. She is hand painted and attired in real fabric clothes, with texture and dimensions very similar to that in game. And just how tall is she? She’s 19 inches tall in imperial units and 48.3 cm for those who prefer their units in metric units. Just saying so you can start making room for her in your collection!

She’s currently on pre-order basis and will be made available to the masses for the fourth quarter of 2011. There will be two versions of Lara as rendered by Side Show Collectibles. The regular line has a yet undetermined quantity as of press time. The exclusive one will have the exclusive art print of art from Adam Hughes and will be limited to only 750 pieces. Once again, buyers will be given the option for  Flexipay with a non-refundable deposit of $35, regardless if it’s a regular or exclusive edition. Both versions have the price tag of $349.99. Yup. Both have the same price. No kidding.
