Silent Hill Mobile 3 Set for 2010

If the newer Silent Hill games have been a disappointment, you might be wondering why Konami even bothers with the series these days. Despite the mostly sour reactions to the series as of late, it seems Silent Hill Mobile 3 is indeed on the way.

KnowYourMobile.com has revealed Konami’s plans to release Silent Hill Mobile 3 in early 2010. This, as with all new releases in the series, could be one of three things for fans of the series:

  1. Decent mobile Silent Hill game. Finally.
  2. A great expected but unwanted disappointment.
  3. Absolutely nothing because they gave up on the series after the PS2.

I myself am a huge Silent Hill fan, but the series has been steadily going south after Silent Hill 3. The dilemma here is: how is a survival horror game supposed to instill horror if it’s on a mobile phone? That is the mystery, isn’t it?

well, the first part was ok (very hard but ok). people didnt liked it couse it was to hard for them. myself, with two friends, i finished the game in two days. the second part is just weird, couse nothing from the first part is explained. and it has no logic. the music is better (specially when you go to the dark world). also, things are moving (the hook, the meat). in the first ewerything was static. but in second part the mysteries do not have logical explanations. to hard to solve. i needed to look for the answers on the internet to finish the game.
