Oooh, doesn’t the anticipation just make you all tingly?  Now over 10 years in coming, it appears that Blizzard is finally preparing to unleash the Starcraft II public beta.  SC2Armory reports that many major gaming press outlets received e-mails from Blizzard, prompting them to set up Battle.net accounts so that they can get in on the upcoming beta.

While Blizzard didn’t specify a window for releasing the beta of the much-anticipated RTS sequel, they did mention that they needed interested parties to get their accounts before June 19th. Does that mean we could be seeing the beta drop sometime before the end of the month?

In addition to those who work in the biz, some lucky few of us will also be able to get a taste of the action in Blizzard’s latest game. All you have to do is sign up for a Battle.net account and then choose to opt-in to the beta. If you haven’t already, you should definitely head over there and get yourself enrolled.
